Radio advertising has perhaps always been one of the most underestimated types of advertising; there is nothing more wrong! The radio, on the other hand, represents a very important media and an advertising tool characterized by strategic importance.
Currently in Italy 35 million people listen to it every day, especially while they are engaged in other activities, such as driving; the daily bands in which significant listening to the radio is concentrated are morning and evening, which in fact constitute the two moments of greatest movement of people.
The radio medium therefore has the power to reach potential customers during the day and intercept situations in which their attention is high – such as in the middle of city traffic in the morning – or in situations where prospects are close to buying (while are going shopping). Another particularly favorable factor is the fact that the radio is able to address a pool of loyal customers, loyal to their radio station and potentially more inclined to receive the advertising message it carries.
Types of radio spots
A radio campaign involves the planning of 4 to 12 commercials per day, with weekly modules ranging from Monday to Sunday. The length of the spot is generally 30 seconds, although it is possible to agree differently according to your needs.
In addition to the classic commercial, other types of radio advertising are available, such as sponsorships of information products, citations – which involve the customer during programs and outside advertising clusters – and promotional interviews.
